I don't get a lot of choice. My e-mail address is used by the university
and they will put it on several web pages. For me it hasn't been much of
a problem. I filter some of the spam to a different box and I manage to
delete a lot of it without reading.
Of course, most of my regular postal mail is just junk to be thrown away,
so why shouldn't I expect most of my e-mail to be just as worthless? It
still isn't as bad with e-mail as with postal mail, but it will be soon!
