It's pronounced "802.11b" (which I say as "eight oh two eleven
bee"). Seriously, I want to nip this usage in the bud, especially
when we (rapidly?) get to the point where just saying "wi fi" won't
cut it; do you mean 802.11b, or 802.11a or 802.11g? Ricochet
service (now available again in San Diego and Denver and soon other
places as well)? G3 phone stuff? (Probably not, but hey...)
