I don't mind it on the list.
If someone isn't going to do work AND not reply to the person they had a
contract with then they should be prepared to have a bad reference
publically. I see it as our own little form of the Better Business
Bureau.
We routinely give recommendations good or bad for various companies and
services. Be that - "This place sucked" or "Anyone know where I can . .
." I see this situation as no different. As evidenced previously we have
no problem speaking our mind of organizations list members are part of
(ie the Univ.). so why an individual who was acting as a business?
So - I say unless Mr. Developer contacts this guy (as he's had more than
ample opportunity to do) then this guy does out him so that we may avoid
falling victim as well, or at least be forewarned.

Well, we let anyone do anything here. Saying bad things about people is
never a good way to win friends, but it might help some of us to know
that
one of us is not trustworthy.
The guy who's threatening to say damaging things should be careful
because
he could open himself to litigation if he is not completely accurate
(and
able to *prove* it!).
But, hey, I want to know who it was!! ;-)
