No, no, no. That's not the case at all. You're confused between Free (as in
freedom) and Free (as in beer).
Stallman, Gnu et all have have no problem with software sales. The point is
that software that is sold shouldn't then be restricted. The concept is that
software will eb sold as a service - Redhat, SuSE et al are commercial
firms, they sell free software. I mean they sell free software _other
people_ have written.
There's no exclusion of anyone, everyone's invited. Just some people turn
down the invitation because they can't grasp that people may pay for
software even when it's otherwise obtainable for free. Perhaps Microsoft
just feel it'd be too much work to support Windows on top of selling it?
