Actually, if by "workspace" he's referring to the user's desktop
environment, he'd be back to the roaming profiles that Camden mentioned.
My experiences with roaming profiles combined with the word of mouth
I've heard supports Camden's "don't do it, it ain't worth it" sentiment.
If it's just a matter of filespace, then mounting a drive, preferrably
via a login script, would be the way to go.

Actually, pstools
(http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/freeware/pstools.shtml) will do this
with no modification of the system. Pretty useful stuff in a Winblows
environment.
