Well, yeah. Having like 7 million people will do that for you. ;-)

This I'm not so sure about. Fry's does have many markets it could hit
before St. Louis, to be sure (New York, Boston, Atlanta, Chicago,
Philadelphia, maybe Research Triangle NC, Miami, Minneapolis, maybe
Denver...) but St. Louis has rarely been "too small" for most things in
the past.

Yes, and they have them now in Boston, too. Now I've asked *them* in
person about KC and St. Louis, and they (interestingly) do get many
inquiries about those places, but they expand at their own stately pace as
well.

Once upon a time I had my brother's car radio in my carry-on luggage. Now
that looked positively sinister in an x-ray machine. ("Hey Floyd; what
this metal box thing with a stick-like thing sticking out on one side
wrapped up in wires?") Needless to say, this was in the olden days, so I
*didn't* get arrested on the spot, but it was interesting to see how
quickly security could arrive on a scene...

If you'd checked them, I'll bet you would have been fine. At least, I
hope so...
