Heh. REALLY old thread, but I thought I'd point out that while this is possible - not even difficult - using technology already in heavy use at IATS (read: "MRTG"), it isn't likely we'll be doing that for some time. Even if we were, existing stats show that the entire Lewis and Clark complex (MLUG lives in Clark) uses an average of 1.5Mb, and it's likely that a lot of *that* is going to ADSM or the UM System network.
In other words, even if we were charging for bandwidth, you could pay for MLUG with your pocket change. :-)
