Here is what puzzles me about that. In the ascii-gram below, the -??- and
[--] are the simm chip slots, -??- filled with one that came with the
machine but I don't know the mb. The 32 is a 32mb DIMM ram chip that also
came with the machine, but is now fried. P and D are just for spacing
reference, its where the power cables connect to the MB and where the IDE
Drive cables connect. I don't see any chips that look like onboard ram, and
its supposed to have only 32mb (ie the DIMM). The 32 is now an empty slot
since the chip died, which, since there are no switches or jumpers, I
thought would force the computer to see the Simm slot.
