There was some chance they would use a slightly different chip ("G4" is a
generic term that could cover many PowerPC chips with AltiVec made by
Motorola). Barring that possibility, these are just the Motorola
G4s that tested out as (say)1.25 GHz. I guess you could think of that as
over-clocking from the point of view of the chipmaker. :-)
