Banks != Government (except Federal Reserves and such)
A two-bit pimp won't federally insure your money. Beyond that, I don't see
what the big deal is with putting money in the bank. Be responsible about
it and it'll benefit you as much as them. Be irresponsibile like me and
they benefit a lot.
