Instead the welcome to someone new on the list and trying to offer a bit of

I did scan the archive for July, but for all I know this has been ongoing on
the list since the start of the year - the thread has you might have noticed
been retitled so it's clearly been going a while.

I have an office full of users whom I have to support - while I'd love to
read the archive through from the start of the year, it just isn't going to
happen.
