The bios config util I found needed to be split onto 3 floppies to be
moved to the Deskpro. Note that I had to use the 'split' command under
Linux to do this.. it wasn't split by default as might have made sense.
Having had used DOS's 'copy' command to reassemble the program on the
harddrive of the Deskpro I ran it.. usefully it then expanded to fill four
floppy disks. Reasonable I guess assuming that during crisis you know
where your disks are and your floppy drive works. I wonder what would
happen if the drive didn't work or I had the boot from floppy option
turned off. Also the bios util is absolutely the worst I've EVER seen on
any machine. It's big, complex, slow, redundant, and a lot of other
descriptive terms unappropiate for children. When I see that program I
want to kill it's author just out of spite. He no doubt works for
Microsoft as he is so skilled in useless ugly bloat.
