Am using RedHat 7.3. It may be a hardware problem but I still blame Compaq
for making it such a pain to access the bios and so forth. (And I wrenched
my back while working on the machine and am in a lot of pain so I'm rather
bitter.)

No, can you tell me the URL? All my Google searches have returned tons of
useless results so I haven't made it that far yet. ;)
