To answer my own question, the only place to get it in town that I
could find was Computer Spectrum; that would cost me $129 + tax of
about $138. 

The obvious choice of on-line vendor (for me) would be Dell; the
cost there (for an edu-type like me buying personally) would be
$99.50 + $9 for shipping and at least $4.50 for tax = $113.

Local is worth about $15 to me for return/whatever convenience, 
which makes this a closer choice than I would have thought.
