It helps if you have enough RAM although I think the Linux kernel will
have some farts without any swap.. something to do with the design of the
new memory manager. It should be okay though as of course a lot of embbed
systems have no swap. If you know exactly how much memory you'll need this
is a good way to speed up your computer and reduce problems under Windows.
Especially if you have a slow or busy hdd.
