Fermi lab in France, MIT, and a university (forgot the name) in Texas are
trying to isolate these particles.  I think NASA is just funding the Texas
group now.  I believe they're called alleles.

The problem is, you'd have to connect through a local hub first, as these
pairs are essentially two ends of an instantaneous cable.  Interplanetary
"cables" would be very valuable assets, sort of like modern backbones.  Any
given ship would probably carry as many "network cards" as it could.
