[MLUG - DISCUSSION] Run a Virus Scan

Sorry gang for sending this out to everyone but I feel it needs to be
done.

Everyone should check your computers for a new virus. This one is called
the Klez worm, and it propagates itself using your Microsoft Outlook
contacts. Anyway I am getting about 5 hits per day with this thing on my
antivirus. Norton catches it just fine.'

This thing is kinda nasty, it can rewrite files on your computer
replacing the actual bits on the hard drive with the ones it wants to
put in, rendering your files useless.

If you are running Microsoft Outlook Express for your e-mail browser,
then run the updates on it as soon as possible for this is the biggest
and easiest way for the worm to get in.

I know you computer savvy folks should not have to be told this stuff,
and you dedicated Linux users will laugh once again for the failings of
Microsoft products, but we need to nip this in the butt and get it off
the web.
