In particular, linux does run on the Armstrong processors. The iPAQ's all
use a 206Mhz Armstrong processor, and from what I've seen, it's a pretty
fast and responsive system. I'm very very seriously considering getting
one. On the other computer hand, here's another question:
Which would be better, a dual-athlon based system with dual 1ghz durons,
or a single-processor running like a 1400+ XP athlon processor? I'm
considering doing an upgrade on my system, and was trying to figure out
which to look at. I'm seriously looking at some of the Asustek boards,
with all the nifty stuff they include, but I can't decide
yet. Particularly when you consider cost and upgradability. Advice is
welcome, along with any ideas or other thoughts. Even those such as "just
go with a dual PIII system" or "why do you need yet another computer?"
As part of that, anyone interested in purchasing a game-cube or a 55gallon
fishtank? :)
Regards,
Jason
