i like this one better, and i've actually used it on a couple of lists
that i ran.
we had the same sort of 'to unsubscribe...' message that mlug has now.
1. build a time machine.
2. use the time machine to travel back to the time you subscribed to the
list.
3. meet up with your past self and tell him/her not to subscribe to the
list, since
you're going to want to unsubscribe in the future.
4. better yet, when your past self subscribes to a list, let them know
that they should
SAVE THE CONFIRMATION MESSAGE. it normally tells you how to
unsubscribe.
5. even better than that, forgo the last 4 directions and LOOK AT THE
BOTTOM OF
EVERY MESSAGE THAT YOU'VE EVER RECEIVED FROM THE LIST AND
FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. it's not all that hard, and you don't have
to worry
about messing up the space-time continuum.
6. failing all of the above, email me with ALL your account names and
corresponding passwords. i'll do what i can to, ahem, get your
email situation
straightened out.
people don't generally like it when you do things like that, though.
i have some better ones, but there a little too... angry... to send to
this list ;)
