Back to the thread about the APC UPSes...  

Does APM have to be compiled into the kernel?  Has anyone had first hand play 
around knowlege of geting APC's powerchute working on RH?  And Why the heck 
do they put the UPSes at a baud of 2400?  

also just for fun since we are on the power side of things...  (don't know if 
it is a hoax or real haven't researched it yet)
