I think the plan was to kill these companies that got an early jump over
them in online delivery but then when the artists started seeing their
royalties from the labels they started raising hell about what rip off
artists the labels are. So now you have the labels against the mp3 sites
and p2p programs and the artists broken into groups for the p2p, against
p2p, for the labels, and against the labels.. so the whole thing is
fragmenting into a horrible mess.
