I know a plastic car saved me some $$ when I nailed one in a parking lot
(behind Hearnes - careened over two curbs and hit a Saturn). It just slid -
no damage. I was impressed cause I hit it pretty hard with the corner of my
bumper from a higher elevation.
Incidently it was on ice and I wasn't going that incredibly fast but slid
for ~50 feet or so. I was driving a 93 Chevy Lumina.

Even with Standard parts, cars can still slide around on a
icy road, hit another car and so fourth. If you are using this
plastic alloy or polimer or whatever they called it on discovery
Then, winter doesn't have have to be bad as it usually is.
