Yeah, something like that.  An even neater feature would be to allow BIG 
bitmaps for the background, kind of like the desktop wallpaper, and parallax 
scrolling.  This really does wonders for Donkey Kong Country on the SNES.  
Dude, you HAVE TO play that game.  It's the best example of a good 
sidescroller game that I could come up with, and doing something like that 
wiht sharp SVGA graphics would kick ass.

hehe... that would be funny.  Especially if you make players act kinda like 
jumping turtles in Mario, so they have to jump on their enemy.  That would be 
hilarious.
