One wonders.  My network connection went into ultra-slow motion at one 
point as well.  (And last night, we lost our water for a couple of hours,
but that apparently was because a backhoe down the street mistook a water
main for an optical fiber conduit. :-))

For future reference, which is the key suburb?  I know Sprint is the proud
owner of Overland Park, but that's all I know.
