I bet I do. I have extremely high grindage on my drives 24 hours a day as
I do a lot of heavy data collection and manipulation including scripts
that move files back and forth. I'm not saying that a data center doesn't
have more drives suffering like that or that SCSI isn't good for such
usage but it's a myth that IDE drives die under heavy pressure in this day
and age unless you buy cheap crap or happen to get something bad like
certain IBM drives. :)
