Perl will give you error message too, just look at the
error log. Why post out all the intricate details of
your bugs to the rest of the world. If you want Perl
scripts to do anything more than PHP can do then I
don't think Perl is that difficult to learn. My first
job required me to learn it in a week, of course I was
no expert but I could do just as much as I could in
PHP. I've been doing Perl for 3 years now and my
company is about to start doing Servlets/JSP so I've
started looking into that as well, haven't gotten that
far into it.
