I've had 2 different emails from persons who got my address from Google that
had nothing to do with the list. One of which was one of the ftpd-BSD
port'ers who was asking if I was still having trouble with a problem from 2
years ago (better late than never =)

Hehe. I wish. We probably get about a half-dozen spams a week to the
mailing lists. Fortunately majordomo is set to bounce messages that
aren't from addresses subscribed to the list, and most spammers apparently
aren't determined (clueful?) enough to pick someone out of the archives
and forge a From: header.
