Michael,
I was not saying that you can not program.  I was just saying that NOBODY has 
yet created true AI, something that does anything useful.  I don't think you 
created one, either.  That was my point - natural language parsing is 
impossible unless you use a strict syntax or vocabulary.  I am not asking you 
to prove anything, but I doubt that you could write a program that could 
parse and interpret, say, this email message on anything more than a 
primitive level.  Maybe your original goal was to do something else, I don't 
remember.  My point was just that parsing language requires a COMPLETE brain, 
basically, not just a fragment of the system.  Otherwise, you won't be able 
to do much more than the old adventure games did.
