One unintended benefit comes from this though, as you don't have to worry
about getting coerced into upgrading someone's wal-mart pc. This happened
to me once, when a friend needed a better sound card installed. A minute to
pop open the case, another minute to put it back together (while gathering
my bedside manner wits), then finally the last minute to explain to my
friend, that he had been had, since there was nothing 'personal' about this
PC.
Easiest compaq support call I ever had.
