I find it the other way. I feel that IE loads pages slower, but maybe that's
because I don't always wait for the pictures before clicking on my next
link. I can't stand the way IE loads pages. The whole load the page format
it and display it, and don't let the user know much of what is going on till
it's done. I like the way Netscape gives it's status down at the bottom. At
least I know if it isn't finding the site name, or if their server just
isn't sending the data.

Now I'll say something that usually pisses people off, but it's true:  IE
is faster than Netscape.  I mean on the same system, loading the same
pages with the same ISP on the same night.  It loads pages faster.  I
don't know what it does differently, but it is distinctly faster.

Despite that, and the fact that Netscape crashes every day, I don't use IE
because of my bad feelings about MS.
