  You covered everything I liked, so I'll jump straight to the gripe.
  This line: "So you're telling me... that if I aim a gun at the ground,
and fire... not only am I blowing a hole in the ground, but I'm
somehow... killing... the planet?"  Ye gods.  The crappy translations from
Japanese for the PSX games had better dialogue than this movie.
  And then there's that robot they hired to play Aki.  I don't care how
cheap they are compared to real voice-actors...
  It was pretty cool, though.  I mean, saying the dialogue sucked is like
saying Citizen Kane had crappy kung-fu choreography.
