Okay, I called Verizon, and they basically told me that there should be
avilablity in our area. For the record, you can't have your DSL line
"moved". They have to shut it down at your old apartment, and test the
line at your new apartment. They can waive fees if you are moving, but
there is a period of outage.
If you want DSL, go with www.directvdsl.com. 1.5 up/down in theory for
$49.95. I'm being charged $40 for 768 down/128 up. I haven't called them
to verify that they can serve me, but I'm pretty sure they can service
this area.
