My experience has been that the dynamic IPs rarely change anyway. I had
the same dynamic IP for eight months and I rebooted almost daily because
of running multiple OSes. Only after I put my main PC behind a firewall
for a considerable amount of time did the address change once I hung it
straight off the DSL line again.
Static IPs are not worth the extra cash, especially if you stay connected
all the time. I've never seen my IP change out of nowhere while connected.
