I'm probably only a half mile away from Woodlake Village on Towne Drive and 
I get great DSL service.  My ISP is Tranquility, and I really recommend 
them.  I get great speed on the line (I have 768/128 service.)  I think the 
"mini-CO" with the DSLAM is only about a 1/4 mile from my apartment building.

I know someone who used to live in Woodlake, but he had a cable modem, 
which was pretty fast as well.
