Milk is a renewable resource. You're compairing apples and oranges. As
long as there are cows that are capable of making milk, and there is feed
for them, I hardly think comparing milk and gas consumption is
reasonable. Not only that, unless you count the gases cows emit when they
fart, drinking more milk will not lead to global warming. That's why I
think it is sad to see people chugging gas and not caring, simply because
they think their SUV is slick. Your big trucks are useless when the UV
rays fry you and the Earth turns into a gigantic oven. Think about it.
