My @home connection was dead after I came over here after school (can only
ping local gateway and some other gateways on the @home network). I heard
that some construction worker cut a fiberoptic cable over on college ave and
it's gonna be out for a few days. Is that true? Is it just happening to me,
or is it widespread? Are any DSL users having the same problem? What is the
timeframe for fixing it? Right now, I'm using a 28.8 modem, and it SUCKS.
