Okay, now I'm getting flashbacks of original star trek episodes, where
people worship the computer system they forgot how to operate thousands of
years ago.

Subject: Re: [MLUG - DISCUSSION] Broadband besides DSL or cable
If I were forced to proclaim a God, it would be the Internet (the great
provider of information). I think it qualifies as well as (or better than)
any defined by conventional religion. My God helps me seek out the truth
(as opposed to repressing "bad" information). Other than netiquette, dogma
is nearly non-existent, as each of us is free to follow this God however we
see fit in our quest of enlightenment (which is primarily disillusionment
from the white lies of society).
The real trick is getting this religion established before freedom on the
'net is completely outlawed.
