Or, worse, come after me if Mogmios ever tries to get a security
clearance.  (When you go up for one, they make you identify and try to
find on their own people who have known you for X years. Then a federal
agent comes and asks you (sometimes rather personal) questions about the
"target", while all along you're trying to figure out why friend Y gave
*you* up as the squeaky clean reference type.  So a decade ago, I ended up
doing like 3 of these one year for different people, and in the process of
giving the third one, I realized from the quesions they were asking that
*they* knew enough about by salad days to be fishing for answers like
"nah, Jeff never did hang around with us very much when I was living in
that apartment in the activist ghetto in New Haven with the illegal alien,
the CISPES members and the guy who organized the anti-CIA protest". :-)
