"i would say that is 50% accurate in law school at least. there are truly
50% of law students who want to help people. whether or not that number
decreases over time is the question. the legal profession is a difficult
one despite the criticisms we face. it wears folks down and takes alot of
time. i don't apologize for the money because it costs alot to go and we
should be rewarded for what we paid and went thru and continue to go thru.
however, the 50% who wanted to help people in the beginning assumed that

Many lawyers just like to argue and be right all the time. Most of the
people I know that became lawyers did it because they like to argue with
people and have lots of money, which are pathetic reasons. Repeat after
me: personality flaw.
