I would venture a guess that it's not worth fixing.  No monitor has ever
been once it's out of warranty, in my limited experience.  Depending on how
old it is though, you still might be able to convince the manufacturer to
give you a new one even if it's out of warranty, so long as it's plausable
that an example of that model could still be warranted.

Otherwise, shove it in the back of the closet and use it for a spare...who
cares if your console is yellow :)
