I found a good place to get refurbished monitors. It's called
monitoronsale.com. There is also some of the other computer surplus/refurb
web sites like www.intellesale.com, www.computergeeks.com,
www.computersurplusoutlet.com. I've had decent success with all of them so
far. I did just order a refurbished Sun monitor from the monitors on sale
place. It was supposed to be refitted with an HD-15 connector, but it had a
13w3 type connector. I called and told them, and they have been really good
so far about getting it swapped. Any one know of a good place to get a
monitor worked on? Last time I had one fixed it was through campus computing
repair services. I'm not sure if they exsist, or do that kind of thing any
more. My 17inch has lost it's blue gun ( reason I'm getting a new one) and I
really hate to throw it out. Problem is that it might cost more than it's
worth to fix. Any one have any ideas?

Thanks

Shannon

Ever go to the surplus auctions... they have some good stuff every once
in
a while yet you have to buy an entire pallet to get one good thing...
you might also look on pricewatch.com under refurbished..
