[MLUG - DISCUSSION] suppression of graphics in Netscape

Am I wrong about this? ...

A couple of years ago, I was running Netscape over a slow connection.  To
speed things up a little, I selected an option that suppressed the
transmission of graphics.  I was able to click on individual graphics and
see them, if I wanted to see them.  That definitely happened.

Here's the part I'm not sure about...  The next version of Netscape I
installed didn't seem to have that option.  If I was to use Netscape, I
had to download the graphics.  Am I wrong?  I couldn't find a way to turn
the graphics off.  Did Netscape remove that feature?

If so, I think that's a form of tyrrany that we should not take lightly!
