POP/IMAP Certificates Changed Again
Fri Oct 19 00:16:12 CDT 2007
I have again generated new POP/IMAP certificates for mlug mail. When you first try to check your mail with the new cert, your mail client may complain. These new certs should be valid for ten years, so hopefully this won't be necessary again anytime soon. ;) If you are using Outlook under Windows to access your mail, you may need to install the certificates in order to get the annoying security popup to go away. Visit each of the following links from Internet Explorer, click "Install Certificate," and tell it to install the certificates no matter how loudly it complains: Mozilla (and its derivatives, including Thunderbird) should simply give you the option to accept the certificate permanently when you first check your email. If you check your mail via IMP/Squirrelmail, or from the shell, you will not be affected. |
